Rickie works with clients across the lifespan, providing mental health assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Rickie is highly experienced in treating a variety of mental health conditions including but not limited to Anxiety, Depression, Adjustment Difficulties, Domestic Violence, Perinatal Mental Health, relationship difficulties, child emotional and behavioural difficulties and parenting support. Rickie also conducts Autism Spectrum and ADHD assessments. Rickie is deeply committed to providing holistic assessment and treatment and improving mental health in the community.
Rickie is passionate about supporting other mental health clinicians to grow and thrive in their career. Rickie regularly provided individual and group supervision to Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Psychology Registrars, Psychologists, Intern Psychologists, Social Workers, Youth Workers and support staff.
Organizations play a pivotal role in the mental health of their employees. Rickie collaborates with workplaces to create psychologically nurturing environments, reducing burnout, enhancing communication, and promoting overall mental wellness. Rickie regularly provides training to workplaces in Mental Health First Aid, Leadership Training, Supporting employees experiencing Domestic Violence; Improving Wellbeing and Productivity and more. Rickie also regularly provides consultation to small and large businesses in improving workplace culture. Rickie can tailor training to meet your organizational needs.
In matters of family law, Dr. Elliott uses her skill and experience of over 20 years working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families to provide quality comprehensive family law assessment and reporting for matters before the family law court. Dr Elliott has extensive experience in mental health, drug and alcohol, domestic violence, child protection, child development and family systems which provides thorough and objective evaluations to contribute to fair and just legal proceedings.
